Contigiani & Giacomini

The Contigiani & Giacomini was founded in 1979, when Giorgio Contigiani and Luciano Giacomini opened a workshop in Corridonia to produce mechanical components for manufacturing purposes. In 1982 the company started the production of machinery designed for the processing of reinforcing rod and the cutting of tiles and timber. Throughout the years, the production was expanded with new items intended to formworks construction such as spacers, studs and wedges. In the meantime the company, in order to provide a full service to customers, started the delivery of products directly by its own means of transportation.

In the late eighties, the expansion of the machinery inventory and the move to a new factory in the town of Mogliano, enabled the Company to respond effectively to the market demands by developing new items such as annealed wire to tie the reinforcing rods and column clamps for formworks construction.

At the beginning of the new millennium the Company started a production expansion phase, which was fulfilled with the building of a new factory in the town of Mogliano. The new facility and the investments in technologically advanced systems allowed the Company to increase the production and to introduce a wide range of products dedicated to the safety of construction sites. In particular, the company has focused its research activities on fall arrest systems such as temporary and permanent parapets. In 2010, the production was extended to roof protection systems (Lifeline) for industrial and civil buildings.
